Baby Products Without Palm Oil Certified

Baby Products Without Palm Oil Certified

Here we discuss palm oil free baby products. Read labels on everything: even “healthy-seeming” and “natural” brands. Oftentimes, there are a long list of ingredients in products for babies.

There is also constant advertising telling us what babies “need.” Keep in mind baby’s sensitive skin. Try to use as little on them as possible.

Along with palm oil derivatives, there are a plethora of ingredients in soap, shampoo, lotion, balm, and creams. It’s the exception when they are made without palm oil. SLS and many other common ingredients are typically derived from palm oil.

Baby formulas also contain palm oil. Below is one brand that is certified Palm Oil Free.

In general, when a product is palm oil free, they use higher quality ingredients overall.

Below we list baby products that are certified Palm Oil Free. Check out these baby products without palm oil. They are sustainable and eco-friendly in other ways as well.

Baby products

Three tips to avoid palm oil in baby products:

  1. Use as few products as possible on baby.
  2. Buy personal-care products with as few ingredients as possible.
  3. Regarding soap, shampoo, and moisturizers, choose bars and solid sticks over liquids. They often will contain less ingredients and won’t need to contain preservatives, many of which include palm oil.

Baby items without palm oil

As parents, we want the best for our babies and families. Read labels before buying anything for baby. When products contain palm oil, they often contain many other ingredients, especially in self-care and personal care type products.

This is the case for diaper rash creams which are meant to protect and soothe. Oftentimes, they irritate skin.

See our other palm oil free lists:

Even in brands that seem “healthy” or eco-friendly or that use plant-derived and plant-based ingredients still typically use ingredients with chemical names, many of which typically contain palm oil derivatives.

  1. Do not buy specially-branded “baby shampoo.” These also contain a long list of chemicals.
  2. Choose bars over liquids.
  3. Choose products that are certified Palm Oil Free.
