Ingredients
½cupcreamy peanut butter
½cupheavy whipping cream
2teaspoonspure maple syrup or honey
¼cupbrown sugarpacked
½teaspooncinnamon
Instructions
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine peanut butter, whipping cream, maple syrup, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
Stir continuously over low heat until the sugar dissolves, the ingredients are well blended, and the sauce is smooth.
NOTE: If you are using a natural peanut butter, you might not get the super smooth consistency, but that won't affect the flavor. In fact, it will be even better! Be careful you don’t overcook the sauce. If it gets too thick, add a little water.
When it is cooked through, remove from heat and allow to cool, either in the pan or in a container. Use while it is still warm.
