sea salt and coarse ground black pepper

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly oil 9” X 13” baking dish.
Melt butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
Season the salmon filets with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the salmon, onion, and bell pepper to the pan. Sear both sides of the salmon, about 2 - 3 minutes on each side. Remove salmon and set it aside. Lower heat to medium.
Add minced garlic and cook until the natural oils of the garlic are released, about 2 - 3 minutes. Stir in milk.
In a small bowl, mix together the flour and 2 tablespoons water until smooth.
Whisk the flour mixture into the garlic sauce in the pan, stirring continuously until well blended, about 1 - 2 minutes as the sauce thickens. Add herbs.
Put salmon in single layer in the bottom of the baking dish. Top with garlic sauce.
Place in the oven and bake for about 10 - 15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Garnish with fresh dill and lemon slices if desired.
