Baby products
Three tips to avoid palm oil in baby products:
- Use as few products as possible on baby.
- Buy personal-care products with as few ingredients as possible.
- Regarding soap, shampoo, and moisturizers, choose bars and solid sticks over liquids. They often will contain less ingredients and won’t need to contain preservatives, many of which include palm oil.

This is the case for diaper rash creams which are meant to protect and soothe. Oftentimes, they irritate skin.

- Do not buy specially-branded “baby shampoo.” These also contain a long list of chemicals.
- Choose bars over liquids.
